Graduation Day for Jude

Having completed CHE Training of Trainers I and II, I graduated with 9 of my fellow class mates. CHE stands for Community Health Evangelism which is a program that helps communities achieve the abundant life that Jesus spoke of.

God blessed us with a wonderful home

God really blessed us. Mother Alice, now 80 years old, has 5 daughters and 50 years ago she and her husband built and gave each of them a house. Today the daughters lease them. Three weeks before we arrived was Typhoon Frank and the compound was flooded with our house having 4 feet of water and mud in it. Our wonderful landlord Teresa and husband Tony cleaned and fixed it up so we could live in it.

The path leading from our home to the garden and another home in our compound. The compound has 6 homes all belonging to the same family. We are so blessed to be here.

Beautiful Garden at the back of the compound. There are many beautiful flowers and palm trees.

Sonshine Center Kids and Families Living at City Dump

Youth going through the trash looking for things to sell to help their families make a living.
These are our families and their children who we bring Our Lord Jesus love and healing to.

A young boy playing on the mound of trash. The trash dump covers several Kilometers. Some of the trash has been at the dump for over 50 years.

Jude and other Sonshine Center Missionaries first pray with a mother for Jesus healing touch.

Jude then gives medical aid to this mother who hurt her knee going through the trash trying to make a living.
